These terms apply when you use sancarlosmovingcompany.com, ask us for a moving estimate, or sign up for text messages from Joshua's Moving & Packing Service LLC ("Joshua's Moving", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Who we are
Joshua's Moving & Packing Service LLC is a moving company based at 350 Demeter St #4b, East Palo Alto, CA 94303, operating under State of California permit CAL-T 0191363.
Estimates and prices
Prices shown on this site, including the moving calculator, cost guides and blog articles, are general information to help you plan. They are not a quote. Your price is set in the written estimate or agreement we give you before your move, and that document, together with the rules that apply to California household goods movers, governs the move itself.
A request sent through this site does not book a move. A move is booked only when we confirm a date and you accept our written estimate or agreement.
Offers and promotions
Any discount or promotion shown on this site applies only under the terms stated with that offer, and only while it is shown. Offers can change or end, and the price in your written estimate is the one that applies to your move.
Payments
Payment terms are set out in your estimate or agreement. If you pay through our "Pay Now" link, the payment is processed by Square on Square's own pages, and Square's terms also apply.
Using this site
- Give accurate information when you fill in a form, so we can prepare a useful estimate.
- Do not use the site to send spam, to submit someone else's details without their permission, or to interfere with how the site works.
- Do not copy or reuse the text, photos or videos on this site for commercial purposes without our written permission. They belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us.
Text messages (SMS)
About Joshua's Moving and Packing Services
Joshua's Moving and Packing Services is a licensed, insured moving company serving the Bay Area. When you opt in to our text messaging program, you may receive non-marketing messages related to appointment reminders, order confirmations, and service updates.
Consent to Receive Messages
By providing your mobile phone number and checking the consent checkbox on our website forms, you agree to receive non-marketing text messages from Joshua's Moving and Packing Services, including appointment reminders, order confirmations, and service updates related to your existing inquiry or booking.
Consent is collected through an explicit, optional checkbox. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Opt-Out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to (650) 629-2465, or reply STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

Carrier Liability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Message Frequency & Rates
As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency may vary. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
Age Restriction
You must be 18 years of age or older to use our SMS messaging service. By opting in, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
Privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. If you have any questions regarding privacy, please read our privacy policy: Privacy Policy.
Other websites and services
This site links to and uses services run by other companies, such as Google, Yelp, YouTube and Square. We do not control them, and their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
The website itself
We work to keep this site accurate and available, but it is provided "as is". We do not promise that it will always be available, free of errors, or that every detail on it is current. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss caused by relying on information on this site rather than on your written estimate. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. Your written estimate or agreement is not changed by later updates to this page.
